I've always been a little bit nosy when it comes to what apps other people have on their phone. Since I have a white iPhone 5c with very little storage on it, I am always having to delete photos and other apps once I grow bored of them/have absolutely no space on my phone left. It's incredibly frustrating but after going through this process, I've now only got a bunch of apps on my phone that I actually use on a daily basis which I thought I'd share with you.
1) Instagram (@_sophielowe)
By far my favourite app. I remember first downloading it on my brand new iPod Touch years and years ago and since then I've managed to go on it every single day (#priorities).
2) Twitter (@_sophielowe)
I really hate using Twitter on my laptop as I just hate the layout and feel so uncomfortable with it. Mobile twitter is so much more convenient as I can just check what everyone else is doing no matter where I am that day.
3) Youtube
I've watched Youtube videos for many, many years now and love discovering new music and vloggers. It's entertaining to see a sneak peek into somebody else's daily life. The app for Youtube is perfect for snuggling in bed at the end of the day when your subscription box is full to the brim.
4) Spotify (1115122815)
I LOVE SPOTIFY. As I mentioned above, I don't have much storage on my phone so I never use iTunes anymore (way too much hassle as well) so spotify is a perfect, free alternative.
4) Snapchat (@sophielowe)
I've recently gotten more into snapchat and love watching people's stories throughout the day and then again, just before I go to bed. I've just made my snapchat public so feel free to add me on there so that you can see my story.
5) Timehop
Part of my morning routine is to check my Timehop as there's just something so interesting about seeing what you were doing this time 1 year ago or 4 years ago.
6) Shazam
This app is really useful whenever I hear a cool song in the background of a TV show or youtube video and immediately want to find out the name of it so I can add it to my spotify playlist. It's also pretty useful if you hear a good song whilst you're shopping, providing the music is loud enough.
7) Countdown+
I've used this for a couple of years now, specifically to get me pumped up for any upcoming holidays or to worry about slightly more somber events such as exam dates.
8) VSCOcam
To achieve my current Instagram feed, I use VSCOcam which I think is a great app, if slightly overrated.
9) Afterlight
A lot of people discredit Afterlight and prefer to use it's competitor, VSCOcam but honestly I think that Afterlight is just as good, if not better than VSCOcam as there's a lot more diversity on Afterlight.
10) Netflix
Although I think Netflix is overrated, I'm a recent subscriber and one of my favourite things to do before bed is watch an episode of The US Office on my phone since they're such short episodes. Let me know if there's any films or TV shows that you recommend.
