Hi there! I'm Sophie, a 20 year old student based in South East England. I'm currently in my first year at university studying Media, Communication and Social Media.

I've been blogging on and off ever since I was around 14 years old where I would prop my camera up on a pile of books in my bedroom, set the self timer and take photographs of my outfits. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone about my blog as blogging wasn't such a huge thing back then and lets be honest, my style wasn't great. My confidence has grown somewhat since then and so this blog was created back in early 2015 when I was inspired and encouraged by my friend starting one. This is the longest blog I've ever kept and it was originally a place for me to document my outfits, my poor university experience (which you can read about here and here) and other miscellaneous things. I relaunched my blog in December 2016 and That Sounds Like Sophie was born. I now talk about my life, specifically about being a student and occasionally dabble in fashion.
