We moved house last year in August and it took me around 3-4 months to actually begin to paint my walls (3/6 walls were covered in dark, blue paint that made my room feel so small and gloomy) and to buy new furniture. I've always wanted white walls to make my room feel much lighter and open. My mum was looking at bedding on Tesco's website one day and I pointed out which one I liked (I don't think they sell it anymore) although I never expected her to actually buy it (I love it now). My parents went to Ikea and got me this headboard which is fantastic due to the shelf at the back as well as storage on either side of it and the black full length mirror. I was in Next the other day and spotted this set of 4 candles for around £6-£8 which I thought would look great on the shelf. I stole the grey lamp from my sister's bedroom in the old house which matches the bedding. To make my room look even brighter I bought these white fairy lights with a nice, ice blue tone instead of the typical yellow tone. My bedroom is not even close to being finished yet and this is only one section of it but I absolutely love how it's coming along and can't wait to share more of it in the future.
